What began as a familiar tale of disgraceful Philadelphia fan behavior has turned into a 21st century Sherlock Holmesian adventure, minus all the detective work and steampunk. Following the NHL's Winter Classic on Monday, a couple of overzealous Flyers fan served up a vicious beating to a couple of underprepared Rangers fans outside Geno's Steaks, sending one of the men - a former Marine and current New Jersey police officer - to the hospital with a concussion. Decent people everywhere were outraged, including the bloggers at Broad Street Hockey who posted the story to their Facebook page. And that's when things got interesting...
