Is there anything more American than a father and son taking in a ballgame on a sunny afternoon in April? Only if the father and son weigh more than a combined 600 pounds and they're both packing a lip full of chewing tobacco. You can blame the baseball players for setting a poor example for the public by glorifying dip in the first place, but we're going to pin this one squarely on the state of Texas, where a healthy lifestyle is as well-regarded as a rational and humane criminal justice policy. The kid shoves something down into his lip. Kids don't usually eat fruit snacks or sunflower seeds like that. I was a fat kid, so I know. And making fun of a child's weight is not very nice, but don't ignore the obesity epidemic in favor of tip-toeing around it.

I expected to be outraged by this video, but I'm really only sickened by the caption. The easiest possible pot-shot to take a people nowdays is to pick on their weight. Look at the fatties! How disgusting!
Also, the kid is clearly not chewing tobacco and seems grossed out by the adult offering him the spit cup. Then the adult tears open a package of FRUIT SNACKS to give the child.
Dumbest. Article. Ever. Kudos on your lack of integrity. I guess we could just blame the state of Texas for that one, too.
