Why you shouldn't let a former pro wrestler nicknamed "The Animal" throw out the first pitch.

The Minnesota Twins Triple-A affiliate Rochester Red Wings welcomed 75-year-old former pro wrestler George "The Animal" Steele to throw out the first pitch the other night, because that's about all 75-year-old former pro wrestlers are good for. The Animal earned his nickname by acting like, well, a wild animal in the ring, topped off by his signature move of chewing up the turnbuckles. It appears his appetite for synthetic leather hasn't abated since retirement, as this silent video (which really gets going at the 0:24 mark) plainly shows. Little known fact: George Steele portrayed the 300-pound Mastiff known only as "The Beast" in the 1993 classic kids film The Sandlot.
