This is the talk of the sports world this morning, and with damned good reason. It seems umpires have been blowing calls every which way this season, and with each instance, the support of instant replay in Major League Baseball swells. As baseball purists, we believe instant replay would be as detrimental to the game as Bud Selig. But after watching this spectacularly incompetent call by umpire Mike DiMuro in last night's Yankees game, it's got us thinking that maybe MLB can do away with umps all together and simply have fan reaction decide the games.
