It doesn't matter when you finish, its when your partner(s) finish.
Things were going just great for Riccardo Russo up until a few seconds into this video; he's a superbike racer (now that's an awesome business card) with a great superbike-racer name, he was winning by a big margin and poised to score thousands of euros, and women in the stands were probably writing their numbers down in advance just in case they ran into Russo at the discotheque that evening. You can tell just how great Russo was feeling because he spends 30 seconds celebrating his victory, oblivious to the riders blowing past him. Russo eventually finished 14th, which carries with it a prize purse of eternal shame. One man who didn't blow this event, though, is the announcer who does a great job (barely) masking the pity in his voice as he narrates Russo's collapse.
