I have been so busy that instead of getting back in shape I have instead ballooned to almost 290 pounds. As a result, my buddy Justin encouraged me to buy a copy of FitDay for the PC and try to get myself under control.
Since I am so heavy and out of shape, I have had to scale down my workout. Instead of a 4-mile run, I took a three hour, 6.24-mile, walk today, and that spent about 1,369 calories.
I try to walk at a good clip but I also carry arround a satchel with all the unread papers and magazines that I have failed to get to during the past weeks and months. I only have on super power and that is the ability to walk and read at the same time. I have been doing it since I was 13 and I have not died yet, so I am pretty sure it is a super power.
It is very interesting to see how many calories certain thinks cost and spend. I think that returning to this blog and also keeping the FitDay log current. Justin has already lost 15-pounds.
