The Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band is equal parts the pride and abomination of Stanford. Since abandoning all pretense traditional marching almost 50 years ago, the band has been suspended and fined by its own school's president, roundly criticized by other schools' presidents and its own alums, banned from the state of Oregon and the campus of Notre Dame, and most infamously, trampled by the Cal football team in 1982. But they've also covered Phish songs, so it's alllll grooovy, man! In the wake of Stanford's Fiesta Bowl loss on Monday night, we present a collection of their band's stoner-friendliest photos to help lighten the mood.
