Though Brandon McCarthy's wife is most likely joking  it is a good question to know the answer to since it technically is a performance enhancing drug. Although if you take it, you probably don't want to broadcast it around Twitter but instead continue taking it in the dark bathroom while giving yourself a pep talk in the mirror.
