Even within the lifetime of this young sports-humor blogger, there was a period where you could only watch a German act like this if he destroyed your video game character on the boss level. Yes, (half of them) were our allies for decades in the Cold War, and all of them are in NAto, and we have put all of that...stuff...behind us, but we were definitely not cool with them making sudden movements for a long time. But I guess history is over, because I haven't been so excited to see a huge German flex since Arnold Schwarzenegger bent over backwards trying to convince us Austrians were something different.
