Video demonstrates just how recklessly important soccer is to British people.
Americans are pretty good about rioting in celebration of their team's victories, as UMASS students perennially remind us. Canadians prefer to wreak civic destruction when things go sour, as the Vancouver citizenry so boldly proves with every instance of their Canucks' Stanley Cup futility. But the undisputed worldwide leaders in balls-to-the-wall celebratory anarchism are England's legendary soccer hooligans, who — following Chelsea F.C.'s comeback victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League final — wouldn't even let moving police cars stop them from vandalizing said police cars. Let's hope those two countries can now finally put all that World War II business behind them and unite in their distrust of Muslims.
